Notes

Tired and stressed, Sans opened the door to his small, shared apartment. Sighing, he lazily chucked his fedora onto the rusted hat rack, slipping his shoes off. Asgore had really been working him down to the bone lately, and it was staring to show. It wasn't like he didn't love to come home with a wad of cash to spoil his sweetheart, he just wished he had the energy to do something more than pass out on the couch when he came home.

Shoving his hands in his pockets, he waddled down the hallway, stopping at the doorway of his bedroom. Peeking in, he fixated his gaze onto the sculpted lump laying beneath his silk sheets. A soft smile pulled his teeth upwards as he stalked towards it, excited to once again be reunited with his lover. Placing his knee on the bed, Frisk's eyes fluttered open, a smile gracing her lips as they locked eyes.

"hiya sweetheart" his rough voice grumbled, staring into her honey colored eyes as she extended her arm to cup his cheek. "I missed you.." she said, a small yawn escaping her lips as she moved to sit up, his movements nearly mirroring hers as he went to sit beside her on the bed. Once properly settled, he eyed her once more, chuckling softly at her tangled, poofy hair. "here," he motioned for her to sit between his legs a short distance away from his pelvis, "lets take care of that mess a' hair why don't we?" he said, reaching to grab her brush that sat on his nightstand. She simply giggled, following his orders as she settled in the spot he had directed her towards.

"How was your day darling?" she asked as he began to gently work on her chestnut hair. "that's.. not important sweetheart.." he grumbled much to her annoyance, though he knew it would keep her questions at bay for mere moments. "how was your day doll?" he asked, hoping the shift of conversation could delay the inevitable. It seemed to have worked, an instant shift as he watched her movements become even more excited.

"Today was lovely! Across the way they seem to have planted a new type of flower! I couldn't find it in my books though..." she trailed off, the hint of disappointment in her tone causing Sans' smile to falter slightly. "don't worry baby, we can get ya some new flower books as soon as work loosens a bit, alright?" Sans said, regaining his smile with the thought of her eyes lighting up and her mouth going a mile a minute once she found the correct species. His thoughts dissipated however as he noticed the slight stiffness her posture had gained.

"Oh.. well s-speaking of that... someone came round' today looking for you.." she said, her tone quiet and gaze fixated on the corner of their mattress. She knew very well that he hated her getting anywhere near his work, even if it would be easier for the both of them. Frustration instantly overcame Sans, recalling how he very specifically told anyone he was working with to never come around during daylight or when he was away. "they didn't hurt you or make you uncomfortable, right?" he said, anger seeping through his words. It was amazing how angry the mobster could get with the mere mention of someone getting near his human.

"No! No, nothing like that! He was a Mark Daniels, as I recall, and he was looking to get closure on a "shipment" with Asgore. I simply told him that I'd take his message and send it your way." she said, slightly nervous that he'd get mad at her for being so friendly with him.
