Horcrux
Pencipta: Herpo The Foul, salah satu penyihir hitam yang sukses membuat Horcrux. Namun hingga kini tidak ada yang tahu objek apa yang digunakan dan bagaimana horcruxnya hancur.
Horcrux adalah sebutan untuk sebuah objek yang digunakan oleh penyihir hitam untuk menyembunyikan jiwanya yang sudah 'dipecah'. Tujuannya adalah untuk mendapatkan kehidupan abadi.
Horcrux dapat diciptakan dari benda ataupun makhluk hidup. Tapi, akan lebih baik jika menggunakan benda mati, karena kemungkinan untuk dihancurkan lebih kecil.
Untuk menghancurkan sebuah Horcrux, dibutuhkan mantra yang sangat-destruktif-sekali + dan dengan proses yang benar-benar menghancurkannya. Oleh karena itu, sangat jarang seorang penyihir biasa dapat menghancurkan Horcrux.
Untuk dapat menciptakan sebuah Horcrux, seorang penyihir harus melakukan sebuah kejahatan yang sangat keji, yaitu pembunuhan, dan harus dilakukan secara sengaja. Bukan sebuah bentuk perlindungan diri ya yang dimaksud di sini. Karena tindakan inilah, mengapa Horcrux disebut sebagai salah satu tindakan yang melanggar peraturan Dunia Sihir dan tergolong ke dalam tindakan 'Hitam'.
