Dear Pierce The Veil,

You guys are my favorite band in the whole world, I couldn’t thank you anymore for doing what you guys do today, Your lyrics, The music, Your personalities are just amazing, You guys save lives. The reason that I’m writing to you today is cause, I just wanted to say If I don’t meet you guys before I die, I want you guys to read my letter. You guys mean so much to me, With out your music I wouldn’t be better. The reason I wouldn’t be better is cause February 23rd 2013 I tried to kill my self, I didn’t care about anything, I felt hated, I felt ugly, I felt invisible, I just felt like shit. I gave up, I’ve been experiencing depression for going on 4 years, My mom thinks it is an act, But its not. She doesn’t understand that I hate my life, I hate my self. I self harm a lot, its been 1 full year since I’ve done it non-stop. It used to be at least 1 cut a day now its more than 5. I don’t cut my arms/wrists, My thighs are covered in scars, and cuts, I’ve felt like giving up so much lately, and this is why I am writing to you, I feel like if I can write/ type how I feel on paper, and have people read it, It feels better just letting everything out. I’m trying my hardest to not give up but I can’t do it much longer, Its sad to say I set my suicide date before February 23rd, It was originally December 19th 2014, But I finally started to pay attention to the lyrics in your songs, Like Tangled in a great escape. That song means a lot to me because its like when I was addicted to meth for a while. Or like Bulls in the bronx, Or the sky under the sea talking about how suicide is selfish, I realized that your lyrics do mean something and I need them to escape. Your music is the only music that makes me feel sane. Everytime now that im having a bad day I come to your lyrics. I listen to your music each album, Each song one by one all night, I don’t care if I don’t get any sleep that night, I just wanted you to know that I exist and I love you guys.
