see, the thing about suppressants is that they're not permanent solutions. they only work if you take them on a schedule. being kidnapped and held hostage for three days? not very conducive to schedule-keeping. by the time the team gets there, the place is so flooded with omega scent that they split up, thinking that there are multiple people in that basement. nate and sophie go after hardison, parker and eliot try to find and secure whatever distressed omega is giving off so much scent. in the end, eliot takes down most of the goons, parker tases a few, nate bruises his jnuckles knocking two of them out, and sophie opens the door to a room practically flooded with distress-scent. there's no one there but hardison, who looks just as terrified to see them as they expected he would be to see his captors.
'this... could complicate things,' nate says.
