Rohingya Menderita, Tanah Laut tak boleh diam
Pelaihari - Penindasan terhadap Etnis Rohingya yang terjadi di Myanmar tak hanya membuat kota-kota besar saja melakukan penggalangan dana. Diketahui mulai hari kamis (7/9) salah satu organisasi kemanusiaan melakukan penggalangan dana di bundaran lampu merah gagas pelaihari.

Hingga detik ini, pembersihan etnis Rohingya terus berlangsung. Ribuan korban jiwa yang meninggal ataupun luka berjatuhan akibat kebrutalan militer Myanmar. Banyak warga Rohingya yang akhirnya harus mengungsi ke tempat lain untuk menghindari sasaran tembak militer.
Militer Myanmar menganggap bahwa etnis Rohingya bukan bagian warga negara mereka. Padahal, jika dilihat dari sejarah, Rohingya yang sebagian besar menganut agama Islam sudah mendiami wilayah tersebut sebelum negara Myanmar merdeka.
Dalam Aksi kemanusiaan ini, Aliansi Pemuda Peduli Rohingya membuat pernyataan sikap. Di antaranya mengutuk tindakan genosida etnis Rohingya yang terjadi di Myanmar, meminta pemerintah Indonesia untuk mengusir duta besar Myanmar dari Indonesia jika Myanmar tidak serius menyelesaikan kejahatan kemanusiaan tersebut, mendukung penuh upaya pemerintah Indonesia untuk berperan aktif dalam penyelesaian krisis kemanusiaan yang terjadi di Myanmar.
