I moved back into my dorm about a week ago and there's this guy named Patrick hanging around on the 2nd floor (where I live). Anyways, he's a pompous douchebag who was born in England and lived there for six months and claims he's "English" and seemingly refuses to do anything that's not "English" (ie. he has never drunk iced tea because "It's not English"). Anyways, we've talked a handful of times (because he keeps sitting down on the couch across from me and my friend Maddy and talking to us) and he asks us what our plans are and we chat about our days and then we ignore him once he becomes pompous or complains for the billionth time about his rowing struggles.
So Wednesday night, same thing happens, but Maddy's not there. He asks what my plans are for the rest of the week, I tell him, he asks me to dinner on Thursday night.
I have to accept. I have already told him I have no plans for Thursday. I can't make up something because it'd be too obvious I'm lying.
So I accept and on Thursday, about 15 minutes before we go to dinner, Maddy casually walks over to me and we chat and I say (as we'd planned out) "Have you had dinner yet?" and she says "Not yet, but I'm starving!" I said "Well, Patrick and I are headed to dinner soon, you should join us!" so she said "Is it okay if my suite joins? I was coming out here to invite you to join us." so I said "Of course! The more the merrier!" and then Patrick got stuck going to dinner with 5 girls xD
tbh I haven't seen him since.
