27th August- first delivery attempted, I come back from work, discover the card and change the delivery date to today, 31st August, the only possible day I can collect the parcel as surprisingly there's no one at home on working days and I'm moving out of this town next Saturday
(28th August- apparently another delivery attempt, even though I had asked for a Saturday delivery, no card left, this is according to your colleague I was on the phone a few minutes ago)
Today, 31st August- 4 people in the house, I've been waiting for a week for my new, shiny Nexus 7, have been in my room just next to the house door all day- come out of the room an hour ago to discover a card saying a delivery has been attempted. 4 people didn't hear any knocking on the door whatsoever (admittedly there is no door bell, that means you have to knock hard, this has been shown to be effective on multiple occasions of other people who are not your driver knocking), no call on my phone although phone number has been provided and year is 2013- over 90% of the population has a mobile phone, which I'm sure includes your driver. I call your customer center to be told:
a) Parcel can't be delivered again today, even though the fault is clearly with the driver
b) Parcel will be returned to the sender because 3 deliveries have been attempted (note no evidence of the 28th August delivery as far as I am concerned), this is being said to the owner of the parcel worth over £200- do you now decide what to do with my belongings?
I have asked for the parcel to be delivered to my workplace on Monday (clarification- I have not done this before as it's not easy and liked by the company- I work on a secure pharmaceutical site with over 2 thousand people on it, private parcels deliveries are not advisable). I demand two things- that the parcel is delivered tomorrow to my hands, contrary to all this 3 delivery bullshit and that I never have to use your services again in my life.
