1. Partikel = sebagai kata sambung, kata bantu, atau kata depan. Partikel juga digunakan untuk menunjukan perasaan dan sikap ramah kepada lawan bicara. Jika di dalam bahasa inggris, partikel diartikan atau mempunyai peran seperti TO BE. Dapat juga dijelaskan kata/morfem bantu untuk Hikatsuyougo (Kata-kata Non-Konyugatif). Fungsi Partikel paling utama adalah untuk Case Mark (penanda peran kata) dan sebagai penghubung antar Hikatsuyougo. Hikatsuyougo terdiri dari kategori Kata Benda dan Kata Keterangan Waktu dan Tempat. Partikel juga tidak bisa berdiri sendiri. Di belakang masing-masing kata Hikatsuyougo (harus) ada Partikel yang mengikutinya.

b. yori (..より) (Partikel Pembanding) sering diterjemahkan sebagai "daripada"
c. wo (...を) (penanda Objek Langsung) biasa tidak diterjemahkan namun kita bisa menerjemahkannya sebagai "terhadap".
