the next shrek movie shouldnt be another lame one adding more stuff to an already over-the-top movie, but one where shreks children (and donkeys kids too) grow up and do semi-normal stuff compared to there parents
like shreks daughter, Felicia would be harassed by her peers for being an ogre, then eventually find a spell or something to become human. She would grow up to be a phycolagist, moving to an urban area so she could help more ogre children.
Fergus would always be distant, just trying to live his life and make average grades. he would ignore his parents efforts to get him to exeed in life, his excuse being that "its not like we all can change the world" or something along those lines. he would grow up to work at a 9 to 5 job.
Farkle would be the trouble child. he was techniclly the firstborn, so he would inherit happy ever after kingdom as requested by Queen Lilian. but he was never fit to be a king. in his teenage years, he would get stoned, mostly when with one of the donkey-dragon (dronkey) kids. he would grow up to be a drug addict, but above the law, since he was a king.
now for donkeys kids. They actually have names, so that makes it a tad easier. Theres Eclair, Bananas, Peanut, Parfait, Coco and Debbie
bananas was the only one given a personality in the movie. he has bright green iris's, that are noticably wall-eyed, and he frequently sneezes with little poofs of flames. Bananas is also described by Donkey as "my special little boy". this already says a lot. i would say he was occasinolly made fun of as a child, but his parents were always the most protective over him. he would grow up to stay with his parents, not having any life skills to live on his own.
Peanut would be the one to always get high with Farkle. his parents, at first trying to punish him, eventually gave up and let him do this. he moved into ever after kingdom, as requested by Farkle.
Not a kids movie plot. but hey, its something.
