mereka mengunjungi suatu tempat menggunakan kristal kecil
milih sir Flux. Malam ini sir dan para murid pergi ke Museum
Wayang yang ada di Jakarta, Indonesia.
Luas tanah = 990 m2 dan 627 m2
dulunya merupakan sebuah gereja tua yang didirikan pada tahun
1640 oleh VOC.
Nama = de Oude Hollandsche Kerk (awal-1732)
Nieuwe Hollandsche Kerk (1733-1808) karena perbaikan setelah
mengalami kerusakan karena gempa.
tanggal 14 Agustus 1936 lokasi ditetapkan menjadi monumen, lalu
dibeli oleh Bataviaasch Genootschap van Kunsten en Wetenschappen.
(lembaga penelitian dalam bidang seni dan ilmu pengetahuan.)
Tanggal 22 Desember 1939 dibuka oleh Gubernur Jenderal Hindia Belanda
terakhir, Jonkheer Meester Aldius Warmoldu Lambertus Tjarda van
Starkenborg Stachouwer sebagai museum dg nama de oude Bataviasche
Museum (Museum Batavia lama).
- Tahun 1957 diserahkan kepada lembaga kebudayaan Indonesia berganti nama
menjadi museum jakarta lama.
- Tanggal 17 Sept 1962 LKI menyerahkan kepada Republik Indonesia.
- Tanggal 23 Juni 1968 diserahkan kepada Provinsi DKI Jakarta sebagai
kantor Dinas Museum dan sejarah DKI Jakarta.
- Tanggal 13 Agus 1975 diresmikan sebagai Museum Wayang oleh Gubernur DKI
Jakarta, Ali Sadikin.
Saat ini Museum Wayang Jakarta dikelola oleh UP.Museum Seni Rupa Jakarta,
Dinas Pariwisata & Kebudayaan Provinsi DKI Jakarta.
Wayag dikenal sejak zaman prasejarah yaitu sekitar 1500 tahun, Museum Wayang
memamerkan berbagai jenis dan bentuk.
Koleksi Museum Wayang lebih dari 4.000 buah wayang. (Wayang Golek, Wayang Kulit
, Wayang Rumput, Wayang Janur, Wayang Topeng, Wayang Boneka, Wayang beber,
dan Wayang Gamelan.)
