Intelligent like our school


A mascot is an animal or creature that resembles a school well. A mascot should have some sort of relationship between a school and itself. I think that the dolphin should be my school's new mascot. It resembles my school in many ways. The ways I will describe in this essay are that dolphins communicate extremely well, they are very intelligent, and work well on teams.
First, dolphins are one of the most intelligent animals in the world. They can recognize themselves in a mirror and can do lots of tricks. I think that the students of our school are also very intelligent. We also have excellent teachers that give a good education such as making sure everybody knows the material. In addition, many of our extracurricular classes have won awards, including our band. We win a lot of competitions such as math and science competitions by sharing our knowledge with each other.
This leads to my next point, which is that dolphins swim in packs and do things well together. They hunt, swim, play, and do many more things as a group. Our school works well together. In competitions, we do well as a group. A lot of times, when we do activities we do it together. Some examples are school-to-school challenges, science fairs, etc. For big events, we manage wisely and cooperate with students such as jag jam or field day.
That shows that dolphins are also great communicators. They have a language of clicks and chirps. Students and staff at my school communicate well too. They send emails whenever there is something important, and almost all the minor information is covered on the announcements. Every student knows what they need to know to do good, and they can seek out counselors for any other questions such as clubs.
In conclusion, I think that my school's student body is very similar to a dolphin. Dolphins have good communication, do well in groups, and are very smart. Therefore, if my school ever needed a new mascot, it should be the dolphins. If dolphins and my school were in a family, they would be twins.
