- Science on its own is really bad because the pay is so little.
Why no science + med :
- Less Schulich money
- Not very useful to my long term goals
- Not worth the time I will spend 8 extra years (where I could be making money instead of paying tuition) and at the end of those 8 years, I will be work only 3 years to get the amount of money needed to start my first business. are those 8 years and 200k in debt worth the only 3 years I will be working in medicine
- Negative budget (deficit) before I even start
- What if I do not get into med school?
Why yes to engineering :
- Better Schulich money
- More flexible and more useful since I want to be an entrepreneur in the long run (Biology will not benefit me)
- Gives me a good and early start (start at 22 instead of 30 so 8 years of money)
- Positive start
- after selling my first business or opening up my first business, I will be making more money per year than doctors. No 8 years and no debt.
