I was in contact with our Vendors this morning regarding "insert drug". We deal with other hospitals in your area, and we were looking to see if you guys experienced any shortages?"
"When was the last time you faced a shortage, and what did you do to solve it. When was the last time you purchased from a secondary?"

We make sure we have our vendors in place, we now work with a handful of vendors who are actually subsidiaries with the big 3, so our products come directly from the distributor. We have our vendors who work directly with other vendors to ensure that we find that individual product you requested.
