my grandparents met in highschool, they have been together since then. when they got married, they eloped and ran off. they married secretly, and then afterwards went to a pub. my grandma says she thought it was a rundown restaurant but my papa says it was definitely a bar. anyways, they went there afterwards and so their first meal as a married couple was grilled cheese and tomato soup,,
soooo tuesday is their 60th anniversary, and my mom is going to get married to my stepdad on that day. it's not gonna be a huge wedding, it'slikethey'realreadymarriedanyway, and it's just going to be us and my grandparents, and they're not telling anyone because they are "eloping", to "honor"(?) my grandparents.
my grandparents on the other hand think we're just taking them out for dinner on tuesday but nOPe surprise!
