According to the Merriam Webster Dictionary, cyberbullying is "the electronic posting of mean-spirited messages about a person (such as a student) usually done annonomously. Many social media accounts have consequences for actions such as inappropriate language and overall content of what you post or comment. Some consequences may include, but are not limited to, a warning, suspension of your online account, or if severe enough, possible criminal charges.
I believe that using too much social media, or the Internet in general, definitely has the potential to have psychological implications on someone, even to they point where they are addicted. Many teens are obsessed with getting likes or followers, and if they don't have enough of them they will delete the post. This could have a negative effect on one's self esteem if taken to literally. Teens become so obsesed, that they are constantly checking for new feed, more likes, or possible followers.
I personally have an instagram and snapchat account, that are both private. I believe that only my close friends and relatives should have access to what I post, because anything you say can be taken out of context, twisted, and formed to what you want it to mean. I never use any inappropriate language, nor do I like any posts that use such language. If I see something that I believe to be unsuitable for online viewers I simply block, report and or unfollow them. I have big plans for the rest of my life and I am not going to let one bad, decision jeprodise my future
