Analisa: Pasien dewasa dan anak anak dengan keadaan umum mengeluhkan kesemutan pada estremitas, lemas-lemas, kejang otot, merasakan mati rasa pada estremitas dan kesukaran pendengaran dan penglihatan. Hal itu disebabkan karena pasien mengkonsumsi makanan yang terkena atau tercemar dari limbah merkuri (Hg).
Penatalaksanaan: Menganjurkan pasien untuk direhabilitasi hingga keadaan benar benar pulih. Sejauh ini belum ditemukannya pencegahan atau penanganan bahkan obat yang tepat untuk pasien penderita penyakit Minamata, selain dengan penanganan sementara yaitu rehabilitasi.
