บาหลี (Bali) หรือ จังหวัดบาหลี เป็น 1 ใน 33 จังหวัดของประเทศอินโดนีเซีย มีเมืองสำคัญคือ "เดนปาซาร์" (Denpasar) พื้นที่ทั้งหมด 5,634.40 ตารางกิโลเมตร มีประชาการทั้งสิ้น 3,422,600 คน ความหนาแน่นของประชากร 607 คน/ตารางกิโลเมตร ภาษาที่ใช้คือภาษาอินโดนีเซียและภาษาบาหลี
ประชากรส่วนใหญ่บนเกาะบาหลีนับถือศาสนาฮินดู ซึ่งส่วนใหญ่ชาวบาหลีได้รับวัฒนธรรมจากอินเดียเป็นอันมาก ไม่ว่าจะเป็น ศาสนา ตลอดจนอักษรและภาษา โดยนำมารวมกับวัฒนธรรมประจำท้องถิ่น และนำใช้อย่างแพร่หลาย
สถานที่ท่องเที่ยวในบาหลี
บาดุง (Badung)
เป็นที่ตั้งของเมืองหลวงคือ เดนปาซาร์ (Denpasar) ซึ่งถือว่าเป็นศูนย์กลางของความเจริญในบาหลี รวมทั้งเป็นที่ตั้งของสนามบินนานาชาติ บริวเณนี้มีประชากรอาศัยอยู่หนาแน่น เนื่องจากเป็นเมืองท่องเที่ยว มีหาดสวยงาม จึงเต็มไปด้วยรีสอร์ตและโรงแรมที่พักจำนวนมาก โดยเฉพาะบริเวณอ่างทางตะวันตกเฉียงใต้
สถานที่ท่องเที่ยวที่น่าสนใจ ได้แก่ อนุเสาวรีย์รามยะณะ, ปุระทามันอายุน (Pura Taman Ayun) วัดที่เคยเป็นวังเก่าของรายาแห่งเม็งวีมาก่อน สร้างตอนศตวรรษที่ 17 เพื่อใช้ประกอบพิธีกรรมของกษัตริย์ราชวงศ์เม็งวี, ปูปูตันสแควร์ จุดศูนย์กลางของเมือง, พิพิธภัณฑ์บาหลี สถานที่จัดแสดงประวัติศาสตร์วัฒนธรรมของเกาะบาหลี ตั้งแต่อดีตมาจนถึงปัจจุบัน, ปุระจากัตนาตา วัดประจำรัฐ เปิดให้เข้าชมได้ 2 ครั้งต่อเดือน คือวันขึ้น 15 ค่ำ และ แรม 15 ค่ำ
บางลี (Bangli)
เมืองที่มีลักษณะภูมิศาสตร์ของภูเขาไฟ ซึ่งตรงกันข้ามกับนาข้าวแบบขั้นบันได อีกทั้งยังเป็นต้นกำเนิดของแม่น้ำหลากสายในบาหลี นักท่องเที่ยวที่เข้าสู่เขตนี้มักจะได้สัมผัสกับบรรยากาศของภูเขา ที่ลาดลงมาสู่ชายทะเล โดยมีนาข้าวขั้นบันไดตลอดสองข้างทาง
สถานที่ท่องเที่ยวที่น่าสนใจ ได้แก่ ปากปล่องภูเขาไฟบาตูร์ ซึ่งเกิดจากภูเขาไฟระเบิดเมื่อประมาณ 30,000 ปีมาแล้ว ประกอบไปด้วยหมู่บ้าน เพเนโลกัน และ คินตามณี ที่มีวิวให้ชมอย่างเพลินตา รวมทั้งร้านขายผลไม้เมืองหนาวสด ๆ
