PROVIDENCE HEALTH AND SERVICES - Gateway/Scholls 2005-2012
Bone Density Technician
Solely scheduled and performed bone density exams
Medical Assistant/ Phlebotomist/ Radiology Clerk
Handled patient intake, vital signs, EKG’s, blood draws, injections, stitch removal, surgical assist, pulse oximetry, nebulizer, pregnancy tests, ambulatory duties, ancillary exam preparation.
Directly worked with Medical Doctors, Physician Assistants and Radiologists.
Took medical histories, answered the phone lines, updated medical records, x ray processing, facilitation and storage, scheduled appointments for patients and billed insurance companies.
Employee Appreciation Committee (EAP)
Worked with a small team to prepare food for sales, set up auctions, scheduled marathons and helped to fill food drop boxes for American Heart Association, Oregon Food Bank and select children’s charities.
Responsible for the celebration of employees on birthdays and for STAR awards, holiday decorations, holiday functions including clinic wide parties and family picnics.
