Pelabuhan terakhir Pesawat Voyage 2 (Agustus 1989) afalah planet kembaran Uranus, yaitu Neptunus. planet ini mengejutkan semua orang karena cuacanya yg berawan dan memiliki atmosfer yg berwarna biru tua. Ketika mengamati cincin dan bulan baru sekali lagi, hasilnya adalah Bulan besar Triton terbukti diselimuti salju berwarna merah muda dan dipenuhi oleh geyser yang meletus diseluruh permukaannya.
• Pesawat Voyager •
Pesawat voyager 1 baru-baru ini meninggalkan tata surya, kabarnya pesawat tersebut berjalan sendiri, dan akan terus melakukan perjalanan ke titik tengah galaksi Bimasakti. Sebelum lepas dari jalur tata surya, Voyager 1 melewati daerah Heliopause yang ada diantara Heliospere dan Interstellar. Sebelumnya, menurut data, Voyager 1 sudah meninggalkan batas tata surya pada 25 Agustus 2012 tahun lalu. Untuk Voyager 1 sudah berjalan sejauh 1.6 milyar mil atau sekitar 21 milyar km dari titik matahari. Membutuhkan waktu 36 tahun lalu dan baru tiba disana. Seandainya pesawat ini di arahkan ke planet "Tau Ceti e" atau planet seukuran bumi yg mungkin bisa di huni (exoplanet) dgan jarak 12 tahun cahaya.
Dengan teknologi saat ini, signal radio yang dikirim dari Voyager 1dapat ditangkap. Nasa mengunakan antena sangat kuat Deep Space Network. Walau pemancar di Voyager hanya berkekuatan 20W.
