Nama latin : Nepenthes sp.
Merupakan tumbuhan karnivora, karena katung semar mengeluarkan madu untuk menarik mangsanya, pada saat serangga sudah hinggap, kantung semar akan membuka kantungnya dan membuat serangga terjerat di dalamnya.
Ciri-ciri khusus :
1. Membuat kantungnya sebagai perangkap agar ia mendapat nutrisi.
2. Memiliki enzin yg dapat merubah serangga menjadi asam dan nitrat.
3. Untuk daun muda pada kantung semar akan tertutup sampai dewasa.
