I did my schooling from a CBSE affiliated institution right from pre-primary to High School(Senior Secondary).

There are both pros and cons for being brought up in a CBSE school.

The most effective point is that, you will be trained by teachers who have the correct and near perfect knowledge of the subject.

The entire grooming process of the mindset of CBSE students will be very smooth, excellently ethical, students are taught to be punctual, clear about their ideas and endeavors. The mindset which a child develops in a CBSE/ICSE/IB school will be better than that of a regional board. The information delivery, the quality of information is up to the point where a child's mind would not be in doubt once the basic concepts are laid properly in the mind.

A child brain is like a new fresh slate, consider education as a blueprint of the township that has to be designed on the fresh slate. It is on you who wishes to get your slate designed with a precised city or a town with irregula measurements.

The con of being from CBSE is that the child is being spoonfed right from his/her early ages. In order to groom the children's mindset in the right way, the children at times develops a tendency to depend on the primary genuine source. Children keep searching for a genuine source. The thing about researching on their own and making their own way, some individuals take time to learn the way how life works. This is the only apprehensive factor that is the byproduct of being dependent and looking for a genuine source.

The syllabus followed by the ICSE board is more comprehensive and complete, encompassing all fields with equal importance.
Students who are interested in careers in the lines of management and humanities will find the curriculum followed under ICSE to be more interesting and challenging, not to mention fruitful.
Certification under the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education board will be recognized around the world, particularly by foreign schools and universities when compared to the central board’s local margin.
Due to the emphasis laid on English in ICSE, students from this board may hold a slight edge over other students in exams like TOEFL.
Disadvantages:

Students may find the syllabus to be too extensive for their liking, as an average student practising under an ICSE board will face thirteen subjects/examinations during the sixth grade, when compared to the six subjects faced by the student’s counterpart in a CBSE affiliated school.
Although an ICSE syllabus can facilitate deeper understanding and better life skills and analytical skills, pursuing further education may prove to be a problem due to a lack of leniency in evaluating papers after an ISC examination.
