Homebrew Bundle, brew bundle and Brewfile Homebrew Documentation
Display a trace of all shell commands as they are executed. Show detailed information about one or more taps. Correct git remoterefs for any taps where upstream HEAD branch has been renamed. Add missing flavor to tap manpages and shell completions. Install or change a tap with a custom remote.
Create a pull request to update cask with a new version. Bump additional formulae marked as synced with the given formulae. Enabled by default if $HOMEBREW_EVAL_ALL isset. Displays out-of-date packages and the latest version available. When passed with --write, a new commit will not generated after writingchanges to the formula file.
Run the test method provided by an installed formula. Generate the template files for a new tap. Lists of file, tap and formula may not be combined. The environment includes gems from the installedgroups, making tools like RuboCop, Sorbet and RSpec available via bundle exec.
The issue isn’t in any way related to Homebrew Cask, but with the vendor or your connection. This is an issue in the connection between your machine and GitHub, rather than a bug in Homebrew itself. Homebrew does not run at all on 32-bit x86 platforms. Use brew doctor to troubleshoot common issues. If you’re using an older distribution of Linux, installing your first package will also install a recent version of glibc and gcc.
Thisis useful when auditing macOS formulae while on Linux. Alternatively,$HOMEBREW_NO_CLEANUP_FORMULAE allows specifying specific formulae to notclean up. If set, do not use the GitHub API, e.g. for searches or fetching relevantissues after a failed install.
Update the list of maintainers in the Homebrew/brew README. Print the homebrew/core commits where bottles were lost in the last week. Only run the tap syntax checks needed on stable brew. Tests the full lifecycle of a Homebrew change to a tap (Git repository).
