Stephen Hawking is one of the most revered scientists in the world. He is the role model for everyone with disabilities, and has written several critically acclaimed books. He has also won sixteen different prizes for physics and science.
Firstly he has been completely paralyzed by a disease from his head down, and is incapable of moving anything below and including his neck. When his disease was identified, the doctors said that he had around two years to live. He has to use a machine that senses his cheek movements to identify what he is trying to say, then the machine uses a robotic voice to say whatever he is saying. Is your person almost completely paralyzed and has somehow survived a deadly disease?
He is nothing short of a genius. It is said that only ten or fifteen people can have a normal conversation with him and understand everything he is saying. Are you that smart? When he was in primary and secondary, he was lazy and didn’t get good grades. But near to the end of secondary he upped his effort levels, and he was soon top of the class. He aced the entrance exam to Oxford University and got a scholarship too!
He is the prime choice for the time person of the year. He has made countless scientific contributions to the world, and won countless prizes. He even held a position that Issac Newton once held! He is a scientific genius, that despite everything, forged his way to success.
