It's not even a question. It's a statement. Even with all the ups and downs and arguments and avoidances, we still ended up still together after 5 and a half long years.
I fought for it, the longevity of this relationship. Every fucking argument. Every fucking break up.
To you, you don't think of the consequences of breaking up. Even when asked you just think that you'd regret afterwards. After the storm is over. After the whole relationship is gone.
I'm tired. Of fighting for us. Of fighting for what's important to me in the relationship.
Even if I'm checking out of the relationship, how do I fight for it when I've no more fight in me?
Even last evening when I told you I no longer give a damn, you didn't follow up on that. Here's the thing - I don't know how much longer you would even hear this kind of drivel from me anymore. Because I truly am starting to no longer give a fuck about whether it matters to me or it matters for the relationship, or even if it's what breaks the 5.5 years.
Call me selfish or whatever, don't think I care anymore. Because what was important to me wasn't important enough for you. My need for certain actions of love just was overlooked, forgotten, neglected. And I'm not gonna go fight for it because what would be the point?
I'm tired.
