What is a grey/gray Jedi?

Notes:
- Define the term ‘Grey/Gray’ Jedi -- The term Gray Jedi, or Gray, had two meanings. First, it was used by Jedi and Sith to describe Force-users who walked the line between the light and dark sides of the Force without surrendering to the dark side, and second, it described Jedi who distanced themselves from the Jedi High Council and operated outside the strictures of the Jedi Code. However, those who were considered to be true Gray Jedi met both qualifications and did not belong to any particular Force tradition. One example was Jolee Bindo, a former Jedi Padawan and a Gray Jedi that served the Old Republic.
- Can you give me an example of a Jedi using a dark side power -- Example: We do see Luke Skywalker use a force choke on Jabba's guards in 'return of the jedi'. A skill usually associated with the dark side.
- Do Gray Jedi fully succumb /do the dark side -- Gray jedi do not fully succumb to the dark side, even if they do occasionally touch it. They cannot be fully seduced by their power.
- How do they decide to become a gray Jedi -- They have decided to become gray jedi because disagreement of the orders. Or even complete rejection of the New Republic which Jedi are sworn to protect.
- How do they distant themselves from the order’s leaders -- Ultimately, they distant themselves from the order's leaders. By not associating with their demands, or outright leaving the order altogether.
- Name a Gray Jedi -- Quigwan Jin, Jolee Bindo, Voss Mystics, Jensaarai and Ahsoka Tano
- What colour do Gray Jedi’s use and what does it represent -- Grey: A Grey lightsaber is most commonly used by Gray Jedi, It represents the study of the living Force and remaining calm and clear in all situations.










Granny’s pathway to a Grey/Gray Jedi:

Start rejecting traditions and demands
Act dissatisfied of their lifestyle, disagreement of the orders action or lack of thereof, or complete rejection of that galactic republic
Distance self from orders leaders, not associating with their demands.
Make immensely different ideals (question the code, reword it, rethink it etcetc)
Learn to have complete loss of faith in the Jedi Order’s wisdom
Start fractioning my power from the dark side of the force (perhaps get Rupet to teach me)
^^^ Important: Do not pull too much of the dark side of the force, never leave the light side! Or else, i’ll be lost forever, the force will forever confuse me.
