How do I see myself in ten years time? I hope to have graduated Inha university with the grades that satisfy me. Being a foreign student in Inha will make it especially hard for me, but as long as I work hard it can be achieved. Over the course of my time at Inha I will continue studying Korean, so by the time I have graduated I want to speak much more fluently than I can now. Having proficiency in the Korean language can be beneficial to me when finding a job, whether I'm looking for a job in Korea or England, as it would give me an advantage over the average person applying for the same job. There are many Korean companies operating in the United Kingdom but there are not many westerners who can speak Korean well. This advantage would be important for the company in my opinion, as communication is, without a doubt, one of the most important aspects of work. I have already looked at jobs in London where proficiency in Korean, although not required, would definitely give me an advantage over others applying. This excites me now, as after graduating university I am looking forward to exploring different job opportunities, and see what best suits me. I haven't decided whether I would like to stay in Korea or go back to England after graduating, but I'm sure I can make the right decision over the next couple of years, based on which opportunities arise to me. After graduating university I can see myself quickly looking for a job, as studying Korean has already delayed my start to university, so I don't want to be delayed when looking for a job as well. Studying business at Inha university will give me skills, such as leading a team, strong communication, problem-solving, decision-making and logical thinking, to excel in any company. Courses such as economics, statistics, accounting, and business administration will all provide me with these necessary skills to prosper in my career. So in ten years, I expect myself to be working in a company where my business and Korean skills can be applied.



I think one of the biggest industries in Korea is E-sports, and it is growing at a rapid rate. This has created a lot of interest from the west too, some huge football teams have started to invest in E-sports too, such as FC Schalke from Germany. France's biggest football team, Paris-Saint-Germain, has also declared interest in this field. Over the next ten years, I expect the interest in this field to continue increasing. Western teams usually import one or two Korean players, so a western person who has knowledge in the E-sports field as well as proficiency in Korean would be highly sought after. This could be a part-time or even full-time job opportunity if the pay is sufficient enough.
