Buku Harian Tom Riddle
Tom Riddle / Lord Voldemort, Anak dari Tom Riddle Sr. dan merupakan keturunan dari Salazar Slytherin. Buku harian milik Voldemort itu sendiri adalah sebuah horcrux, sebuah objek yang mampu menyimpan jiwa seseorang.Pada tahun 1992, benda tersebut berhasil masuk karena dibawa oleh Ginny Weasley, yang selanjutnya membuka sebuah kamar 'warisan' dari Slytherin: Kamar Rahasia.
Ginny Weasley mendapatkan buku > Lucius Malfoy yang menyelipkannya di antara buku-buku sekolah Ginny Weasley. Tujuan Malfoy sendiri melakukannya ada tiga. Yang pertama adalah untuk menghancurkan reputasi para penyihir hebat, seperti Arthur Weasley dan Albus Dumbledore. Yang kedua adalah memusnahkan semua penyihir keturunan Muggle di Hogwarts. Yang terakhir sendiri adalah karena Malfoy ingin 'membuang' benda hitam itu,
Seperti cerita-cerita yang telah kalian dengar dan sudah ada di buku pegangan, terdapat seekor Basilisk di dalam Kamar Rahasia itu. Ginny Weasley membuka Kamar Rahasia atas pengaruh Tom Riddle dan Harry Potter berakhir menyelamatkannya serta menghancurkan buku harian itu.
