Prayer list

That I don't care about what my image is as a Christian. So often I have a hard time staying focused, whether that's during worship or in my day-to-day walk with God. It's something that has been frustrating me ever since Radiate when I realized what it's like to just worship to God and not to impress others.

That I don't put my self-worth into what other people think of me, or more importantly, what I think others think of me. So often I care about what I think others think of me and I overthink things and God immediately becomes a 2nd priority to this. Especially when I talk to girls, it's like tunnel vision when I talk to any of the girls or interact with them and it seems like they take priority over God and that can't continue, so the prayer is that I can learn how to have a correct friendship with a girl that doesn't take priority over my relationship with God. No idea how that can happen, but prayer is a useful thing and this is something I need to pray about every day.

That I don't get confident about my relationship with God. It doesn't matter how good things may seem to be going with God, the second I get confident about my walk is the second I start letting up and lose the focus. It's a real pride issue, and that's an important thing to work on.

Another thing is my issue of relying so much on God making me feel a certain way. Something I think is a serious problem is my tendency to wait for God to make me feel like he's there and he's present but sometimes it doesn't feel that way. Something I forget is that a huge part of my walk is based on faith, and if I wait for God to show up, there's not very much faith there. I focus too much on the emotional aspect of my faith so that I lose interest in doing any quiet times.
