Hokidachi ini, adalah bonsai dengan gaya broom atau sapu .Hokidachi ini untuk pohon yang mengembang ke atas dengan percabangan yang banyak.
•yang kedua adalah chokkan.
Bonsai ini seperti om om kantoran yang sedang bertemu dengan bosnya, alias berdiri tegak dengan formal
•yang ketiga adalah moyogi.moyofi itu seperti memiringkan pinggulnya. Seperti orang yang berjalan di catwalk.
Dan ciri moyogi ini seperti itu, lebih informal di bandingkan chokkan
•yang ke empat adalah shakkan.Shakkan ini sendiri mempunyai ciri khas dengan bentuk miringnya.Pohon shakkan ini miring dan membungkuk ke arah matahari.
•yang ke lima adalah kengai.Kengai ini sendiri berbentuk seperti air terjun.Seperti pepohonan di tebing yang terkena salju atau reruntuhan
