Working with a structured PDF report-generation system built using ReportLab, incorporating custom headers, footers, section formatting, and a clean, organized layout to convert extracted NFPA content into readable and navigable documents.
Working with the analysis and resolution of SQLite3 stalling issues during large-scale extraction workflows, and transitioning the system to DuckDB to achieve a more efficient, scalable, and reliable pipeline.
Working with the migration of the database engine to eliminate file-locking and stalling issues, ensuring smoother and more stable processing during heavy operations.
Objective -
Working with building a resilient text-scraping and PDF report-generation system that handles diverse layouts, uses intelligent fallbacks, and produces well-structured NFPA reports.
Working with optimizing the data-processing pipeline by resolving SQLite3 bottlenecks and migrating to DuckDB for a more efficient, scalable, and stable workflow.
Worked on improving text encoding and symbol handling by adding unicode normalization and replacement logic to prevent PDF rendering issues and preserve readability.
Worked on developing a dual-output archival workflow that stores both raw extracted text and formatted PDF files, ensuring comprehensive data preservation and offline accessibility.
Integrated the existing Building Renovation Model into the main system, ensuring seamless functionality and efficient data flow.
Analyzed and optimized the existing codebase to enhance performance, readability, and maintainability.
Resolved QA-reported issues through detailed debugging, testing, and validation to ensure system stability and reliability.
Collaborated closely with QA and development teams to verify fixes and ensure all functional and UI-related defects were addressed.
Implemented minor enhancements based on QA feedback to improve overall user experience and feature efficiency.
Worked on integrating centralized logging, metadata tagging, and correlation IDs for end-to-end observability and real-time analytics using ELK Stack and Prometheus.
Worked on implementing distributed tracing with OpenTelemetry to enable precise request tracking, early anomaly detection, and SLO compliance across microservices.
Working on integrating BIM ingestion workflows to link architectural blueprints, metadata, and spatial data for intelligent dependency mapping and analytics.
Working on developing a dynamic page extraction module to automate NEC document retrieval, parsing, and ingestion using asynchronous scraping and OCR fallback.
