A problem that is often debated nowadays is whether or not techonology has influenced people in such a way that they stop interact each other and they communicate less among them. There are several points of view on the benefits that technology such as internet, television and electronic devices has brought to our society. Television is a double-edged sword that society has to know how to use it so it cannot diminish communication among it.

Television is a device that you can use in your own benefit and it brings a lot of satisfactions. In this device you can easily get informed of what happens in all around the world, the news are instantly informed with no effort. Moreover, after a hard day at job you can turn television on and watch a movie or an interesting program that will make you forget problems temporarily and get relaxed. If one keeps in mind that television is a tool to learn something new or to look at something possitive there's not going to be any problem at all, conversely, it can make us fell good. Problems come when people just stay a lot of hours watching television with programs that are trash and they don't contribute to our life. With this in mind, it is within the bounds of possibility that television will destroy communication among friends and family because they prefer to watch television than to talk to people.

One of the most striking aspects of the communication destruction among friends are social media such as facebook, instagram, etc that make us stay hours in front of our mobile devices. One such example could be that if you go to any restaurante in any part of the world and look closely to tables in there, you will find that most people are texting or watching their mobiles. This is a big problems that arises a lot of opinions because you can have information of any type in your hands in the moment that you require but we are loosing the art of interact each other.

Techonology is changing everyday and the world adapts to this but we must keep in mind that we all are social beings that need other people to fullfill our needs to being heard and supported. I don't really think that television has diminish communication among people but social media has. What we must do is to use this powerfull tools in benefits for people and that the final purpose of them will be union and integration.
