Posisi quidd sendiri ada empat: Chaser, beater, keeper, dan seeker.
1. Chaser, bertugas untuk menangkap quaffle.
2. Beater, bertugas menangkap bola bludger.
3. Keeper, tugasnya menjaga gawang.
4. Seeeker. Tugasnya menangkap golden snitch.
Cara kerja.
1. Chaser.
Chaser bisa menangkap quaffle dengan menjawab soal perkali. Untuk mendapatkannya harus menjawab dengan cepat dan tepat. Untuk bilang desimal menggunakan titik. Untuk ribuan gunakan koma.
2. Beater.
Cara mendapatkan bludgernya dengan menebak teka-teki satwa gaib. Tapi, waktu juga harus diperhatikan.
Shooting Star: 4 menit
Moontrimmer: 5 menit
Silver Arrow: 6 menit
Oakshaft 79: 7 menit
Comet 180: 8 menit
Swiftstick: 9 menit
Contoh, shooting star. Batas waktunya empat menit. Berarti melebihi itu dianggap tidak bisa mendapatkan bludgernya. Lalu, siapa yang memberikan teka-teki? Nah sebelumnya bludger dari masing-masing team akan suit. Yang menang akan memberi soal.
3. Keeper.
Tugasnya ringan, hanya menebak.
Contoh soto/rawon/kupang. Keeper memilih soto. Tapi pihak lawan (re:chaser) memiluh rawon. Karena beda, keeper tidak berhasil menghadang. Dan tim lawan mendapatkan gol (10 point). Intinya, sama berhasil dihadang. Beda tidak berhasil dihadang.
Lalu, kapan keeper bermain? Saat bludger dan quaffle dipegang di tim yang sama. Seumpama quaffle di tim A. Bludger di team B. Bagaimana? Dilempar kembali. Waktu pertandingan berapa lama? Nah, ada dua macam. 60 menit dan 90 menit.
Snitch akan dikeluarkan 45 menit sebelum pertandingan berakhir.
