Description of the Problem:
I am writing to formally complain about the 4TB flash memory drive I recently purchased. The product is advertised as having a 4TB capacity, but it is defective and functionally fraudulent.
Upon attempting to use the drive on a Windows 11 system, I encountered the following critical failures:
Capacity Failure: While Windows initially reports the drive as 4TB, it physically fails as soon as data exceeds 1GB. When attempting to copy a folder of 11GB, the transfer stopped completely at 1GB.
Write Protection / Locked Drive: The drive has now become completely unresponsive. I am unable to add new folders or files, and even advanced Windows CMD commands (like diskpart clean) fail to resolve the issue.
Counterfeit Controller: These symptoms are consistent with a "fake capacity" scam, where the drive’s controller is programmed to lie to the operating system about its size. In reality, the physical NAND chip inside is likely only 1GB or 2GB.
Desired Resolution:
Because this product is fraudulent and does not meet the advertised specifications, I am requesting a full refund.
Please note that returning a counterfeit item via mail is often restricted by postal safety and fraud policies. I have documented the failure and am prepared to provide logs from testing tools (like H2testw or ValiDrive) as further evidence if required.
