No matter how bizarre it sounds, there are a few similarities that can be explained when comparing my personal conflict towards the 1840 Great Natchez Tornado and the Goliath versus David battle. The following as listed are all the things of which they all have in common, and they are: several people were involved in the causes and consequences in each conflict, the actions and decisions they made strongly determined their future, and all are internal as well as external conflicts. An example of what I mean by the first idea is demonstrated in my first conflict, when the natural disaster pummelled down the town of Natchez, damaged their infrastructures and eradicated several citizens’ lives. An example of the second idea is demonstrated in my own personal conflict, when I finally decided to take action for all the problems that were interfering with my life and resolving them by speaking up about it with my tutor teacher during a Learning Leader Conversation. This example not only shows that every minuscule thing you do but the decisions and the choices you make throughout your life, can ultimately and objectively lead to having a great impact (either positively or negatively) on your future. Third of all, an example of where the third idea is demonstrated is in my second conflict, when David, the young shepherd, volunteers for the challenge to fight Goliath; which is not only an internal conflict for him to be able to have the courage to step up but an external conflict when he actually does manages to defeat him in the battle. Conclusively, all these examples represent an overall base of my understanding and knowledge of all the similarities that I found, taking in all aspects and regarding them to all the conflicts that I have studied throughout this whole term.
