Hello Jon,
Here's a few lines of experience from myself when I fly, hope I can help you with your trip to Kevon :P

I, Pre-flight preparations

1, Passport, ticket and ID
- Make sure you have a valid passport which doesnt expire around the trip ( You're making a new one so this prob. doesn't matter ).
- Buying a proper ticket: Make sure to double check your departure and arrival destination, and the time/date of the flight.
Normally you'll get an e-ticket number ( electronic ticket number ) and I suppose you buy your ticket online from a retail-website, so you should go on the website of the airlines you're flying with and check your trip ( names / passport no.,which you should also enter carefully when purchasing the ticket ).
- You can do an online check in to choose seat/etc. but I think you should just do a normal check-in at the airport.
- ***: Take a picture of your IDs and Passport ( For Passport take a pic of the page with your information and P-number ), this usually isn't needed but just keep it in case something goes not according to plan.

2, Luggage
- Check your ticket for your baggage (checked bag) info ( weight info - the max weight of ur baggage thats allowed ).
Usually, it should be 1 baggage with max 23/30kg, depends on the airline.
Remember to always scale when you pack your baggage, don't be generous but let your baggage's weight be 22/29 kg at home in case the scale at the airport is a bit different resulting in your baggage getting heavier, which might get you fined :p
What you bring inside is up to you, just remember don't bring fragile bottles of liquid (which might break and mess up your baggage) and for certain types of food/plants/raw stuff, google if its allowed to be brought to the airport/your destination. Clothes/personal stuff is always ok, just no banned substance or drugs :c.
- For your carriable hand luggage, you will be able to have 2 pieces, normally a laptop bag with a purse or a smaller bag.
They won't weigh your laptop bag (or purse) if it doesn't seem heavy, and the other bag musn't be over 7kg.
For me, I use my backpack to carry the laptop and a coat ( In-case it's cold at the destination, and I assume you come to EU in December, when its FKIN COLD, SO YOU HAVE TO BRING ONE ).
Along with that, I use a side-bag to bring stuff like snacks, eye-drops tissues, my carriable charger for you IDK LMAO.
Dry snacks are allowed through the security checkpoint, liquids - no.
If you bring lotion or contact lens solution, they should be no more than 100ml and put them into a clear plastic bag which has zips ( best imo ), and you have to take them out so security can check when before you go through the scanner.
- Make sure your phone has roaming or such, in-case wifi at the destination sucks and you can't contact via internet, so you can call Kevon's phone no.

II, On Flight day

1, Before going to airport
- Make sure you had enough sleep ( Have a proper sleeping schedule at least a week before u fly ).
- Eat a nice meal before leaving for airport ( I recommend stuff like toast/bread, no soup, etc ).
- Leave so you can arrive at the airport 3 hours before your fly/boarding time, make sure the passage to the airport isn't crowded or has a jam.

2, At the airport.
- Check in at the airline desk. Follow the signs to the check-in desks, and have your photo identification ready to present to the agent. He will look up your reservation, print boarding passes and collect any baggage fees (normally there isnt any if baggage is included in your ticket) for checked bags. If you have not selected seats, you can also ask the agent for a window or aisle seat at this time. You will be asked to place your checked bags on the scale next to the desk for weighing, and they will be tagged and placed on a conveyor to be taken to the plane. Take your boarding passes and ID card from the agent.
***Remember to always keep your passport and ticket safe and always check if you forgot or left them somewhere.
- Go through security. Follow the signs for security, and head to the line. At the security checkpoint, you will be asked to show your identification and boarding pass. Once you are at the screening machines, take off your shoes and jacket and place them into a plastic bin with your clear plastic bag. If you are traveling with a laptop, place it into a separate bin, and send it down the conveyor along with your carry-on bag. Wait for an agent to wave you through the metal detector, and walk through. Retrieve your items.
***After this, double check everything including your wallet and passport+ticket. ME MYSELF FORGOT MY PASSPORT IN A TRAY ONCE :C
- Find your gate. Your boarding pass should have a gate number on it; if not, check the electronic displays to find your flight and gate number. Follow the signs to get to your gate, and have a seat until a gate agent calls for boarding. Airlines generally board by row, so don't approach the gate until your group is called. Find your seat by checking the numbers above each row, and stow small bags under the seat in front of you and larger bags in the overhead bins.
- Your flight is pretty long so I think you should get some sleep. Usually they will serve u a meal mid-flight, but you can also enjoy your snacks lmao :c.

3, At the destination
- Collect baggage. Once your flight lands, exit the airplane and follow signs for baggage claim. Your flight number and departure city will be on an electronic display; wait with the crowd until the conveyor starts moving and your bag arrives.
- Find the exit, there they should check your Passport again, and then you're ready to kick-ass in Amsterdam with Kevon !
Have a nice trip !!!

Chenniela :c
