1.Siu Nim (atau Lim) Tao, atau “Gagasan Kecil,” merupakan dasar bagi banyak gerakan dalam Wing Chun. Siu Nim Tao adalah bentuk gerakan pertama dalam Wing Chun. di dalam Siu nim Tao pun ada teknik gerakannya juga kid. yaitu gong lik, fajing, Pak Sau atau Huen Sau, Tan Sau,Gan Sau, Bong Sau.

2. Chum kiu. Chum Kiu, atau “mencari jembatan,” memerkenalkan gerakan seluruh tubuh untuk melengkapi apa yang telah dipelajari pada gerakan dasar Siu Nim Tau. Setiap bagian Chum Kiu harus dikuasai lebih dulu sebelum maju ke bagian selanjutnya & sblm mempelajari teknik yang lain.
