“Stranded inventory” refers to your items at a FBA warehouse that do not have an active offer on the Amazon website. You’ll see a few different reasons why your inventory might be “stranded.” The statuses are Inactive, Incomplete, and Out of Stock.

Incomplete
Incomplete listing means that there are missing information (Price and Condition) from the listing itself. To fix this you need to edit the listing and add the price and condition on the listing and save it (which happened in your listing).

Inactive
One possibility for an inactive status is that an item has been returned by a customer and is unfulfillable, either because the customer damaged it (likely, he or she opened the package) or the customer said it was defective. If you’ve been checking your unfulfillable items, you will have already created a removal order for these items, and there’s no reason to take further action here. If you haven’t already created the removal order, there’s the option to do so in your stranded inventory list by clicking the drop-down menu under the “Actions” column. Sometimes, however, there’s a problem in the Amazon system that causes an item to be listed as inactive for no reason. In these cases, please chose “Relist” from the “Actions” column and fill in the appropriate information in the “Offer” tab of the Amazon product page.

Out of Stock
You may also encounter that your listing is showing as “out of stock” status because of a glitch occurring during the initial process of scanning and entering them in the Amazon system. Sometimes also the listing is set to Fulfilled by Merchant even if you already sent units to our Fulfillment center. To fix the problem, clicked on each “out of stock” item’s “Action” drop-down menu and chose “Change to Fulfilled by Amazon.” Almost immediately these items became available for purchase.

If you tried to fix the Stranded Inventory manually by editing the listing and still it didn't work. This issue may be resolved through a feed. What you can try is going to Seller Central > Inventory > Add a Product via Upload > Open the Listing Loader > Fill out the listing template with the Stranded Inventory products > save as Text (tab delimited) > Upload the file by clicking select file type to upload and select Inventory loader file > Input the file from your computer and you should be set as long as the information inputted matches with our system

This will only work if the product is not within Manage Inventory, only in Stranded listings. We may need to make sure the information matches with the mappings within your account.

The listing uploader feed should auto fix the Stranded Inventory Page. If it does not please, have the associate working on your case assist you with any account specific issues you may face.
