Ada triknya. Biasanya penebang pohon memberikan makanan berupa serangga, jadi si kecil ini bisa cukup tenang untuk dipindahkan dari pohon asalnya.
Mereka banyk ditemukan yang di daerah Inggris barat, Jerman bagian selatan, dan hutan-hutan Skandinavia tertentu
Perawatan/pemeliharaan Bowtruckle:
Untuk pemberian makan, sebaiknya Bowtruckle dibiarkan mencari makannya sendiri, karena pada dasarnya makhluk ini adalah satwa liar. Begitupun dgn pemilihan tempat tinggal, pada saat masih kecil, Bowtruckle akan memilih sendiri pohon mana yg akan ia jadikan rumah.
Dan ia kan hidup disana hingga akhir hayatnya.
