Hi, for those of you who don't know me, I'm shawn gonzalez. I'm still fairly knew to the ward learning names myself. so just a couple weeks after i joined this ward i was asked to join brother miller on the mt. whitney high adventure trip. i was a bit nervous to do this because my older brother had attempted this same feat, and at the time he was older, stronger, and tougher than myself. he did just when up until the last stretch and he got extreme altitude sickness and couldn't go on. so once again him being so much stronger than me and not being able to do this i was almost positive i couldn't do it either. however after just a couple practice hikes i decided to do it. we had to be at the stake center very very early in the morning and i thought i would be afraid nervous anxious or something like that
