I turned around and walked back to the pack house. Not looking back. I walked into the kitchen where Blake's parents are. "Do you know where they have Blake," I asked my voice breaking. I looked down at the ground when I heard the door open. I knew it was Jax who walked in.

"Jamie, I'm so sorry, I promise it won't happen again," I ignored him and asked where Blake was again. Sabrina got up and guided me outside to the next house. We walked in and it was smaller than the pack house. Although it felt a little cozy, it was like a mini hospital.

We took multiple turns until we finally made it to Blake's room. "You'll be fine by yourself?" I nodded my head and opened the door. I sighed and crawled in the bed with him. "Why does life have to be complicated? I wish I could have prevented this from happening," I said mostly to myself.

I started crying, that's all I could do in that moment. "You are one emotional vampire," the voice that always brought me comfort. I looked up at him, "It doesn't run in my family much," he let out a low chuckle.

"Are you okay?" He asked. "I should be asking you the same. You are the one sitting in a hospital bed," I said in a soft voice, "because of me." He raised an eyebrow. "Are you gonna tell me how?" I shook my head 'no' and looked down allowing the tears to keep falling. I guess the wolfsbane wore off quicker than I expected.

"I'm sorry that you're in here. I'm sorry I caused you to get hurt. I'm sorry that you had to experience that kind of pain. I'm sorry I couldn't stop it. I'm so sorry," I said breaking down all over again. I was grateful he didn't try to stop me from crying because I needed to let it all out.

*Jaxson's POV*

"I should have," she whispered, tears still fall down her face. I felt bad, I knew that slapping her wouldn't have made anything better. She would take a punch over a slap any day but no I had to slap her. I ran after her when she headed towards the pack house.

"Jamie, I'm so sorry, I promise it won't happen again," She ignored me and asked where Blake was. As the woman led her out the front door I walked into the living room and sat on the couch. I let out a very loud sigh.

"What's wrong?" I shook my head and looked up at my mate."I slapped Jamie. And she's pissed about it," I answered falling back on the couch. "Why did you slap her?" Kymberley sat next to me. "She tried to kill me," I said looking at her.

I saw the tick go off in her, "SHE DID WHAT?" I stood before she could. "It's okay I'm perfectly fine. I shouldn't have slapped her," I said, she looked at me confuse but I could still see that she was angry. "Jamie doesn't take being slapped so well. Punched? Yes. Slapped? No.

He dad slapped her once she lashed out on him and he never did it again. Jamie is different, she's not like others. I know this doesn't make you any less angered but you have to understand Jame is my cousin and I did something I promised her I would never do.

She hates being the emotional vampire. I know this how? Well, the look in her eyes says it all. Some people have no problem with her being emotional but deep down inside I know she hates it," when I finished it felt as if I was talking to myself.

Like there was no one around but me. "You care deeply about her do you?" I nodded and said, "yes. I do very much. she's my fam."

"Well, maybe you should try to talk it through with her." I nodded and grabbed Kymberley's hand.
