As students acquire the specified outcomes, they will also be expected to use the following seven mathematical processes: Communications – communicate in order to learn and express their understanding Connections – connect mathematical ideas to other concepts in mathematics, to everyday experiences and to other disciplines. Mental Mathematics and Estimations – demonstrate fluency with mental math and estimations. Problems Solving – develop and apply new mathematical knowledge through problem solving.
