Dried Nettles
Adalah sebuah tanaman yang bisa hidup diatas tanah yang terkena sinar matahari. Memiliki nama lain Urtica Diocia. Bermunculan saat musim semi. Dried nettle ini memiliki ciri khusus yaitu bulu halus yang disebut trichomes. Bulu halus ini terdapat pada batang,daun, dan bunganya. Bunga tanaman ini kecil dan bertumpuk. Bulu halus pada tanaman ini bisa berfungsi untuk menyuntik kulit manusia sambil mengalirkan bahan kimia yang mengakibatkan timbulnya rasa sengatan pada kulit.
Sengatan itu berupa rasa panas pada kulit.
Fungsi tanaman ini salah satunya untuk bahan obat obatan. Tapi juga bisa dimanfaatkan untuk minuman,seperti teh. Nettle juga bisa digunakan untuk pupuk, karena nettle memiliki unsur hara yang tinggi. Beberapa ramuan juga menggunakan nettle sebagai salah satu bahannya. Yang harus kita lakukan saat terkena sengatan ini adalah membasuh nya dibawah air mengalir. Karena jika tidak, rasa panas pada kulit tidak akan hilang. Nettle juga punya kemiripan pada tumbuhan red nettle. Dan yang membedakan adalah bulu halus yang ada pada daunnya, red nettle tidak memiliki bulu halus pada daunnya.
