Kejahatan
Kejahatan adalah tindakan yang melanggar hukum, serta sangat meresahkan pihak lain. Namun persepsi setiap orang berbeda. Jadi, pihak yang berwenanglah yang akan menilai. Kejahatan lebih ke sesuatu yang melanggar peraturan. Seperti perampokan, pencurian, pembunuhan. Jelas ada peraturan tertulis 'Dilarang membunuh', 'Dilarang mencuri'.
Tapi, itu agak berbeda dengan 'Jahat'. Meskipun kata kejahatan berasal dari kata jahat, konteks kedua kata itu agak berbeda. Jahat mengarah ke sifat sedangkan kejahatan berarti perbuatannya. Jahat lebih ke persepsi, ke sifat, ke pandangan orang lain ketika orang tersebut menganggap kelakuan itu melanggar norma. Kejahatan lebih serius. Lebih berbahaya hingga masyarakat membuat peraturan tentang itu.
Contoh kejahatan di dunia sihir:
1. Menggunakan sihir hitam
2. Membuat horcrux
3. Merapal 3 kutukan terlarang
4. Meminum darah Unicorn untuk keabadian
Kejahatan di dunia Muggle:
Seseorang harus lebih berhati-hati di dunia Muggle. Kenapa? Karena tidak bisa menggunakan sihir disana. Yang bisa dilakukan jika terjebak kejahatan di dunia Muggle adalah dengan empertahankan diri tanpa sihir. Entah itu memukul, menendang, melemparkan sesuatu. Apa saja yang tidak menggunakan sihir.
