Procrastination

In my class a couple of weeks ago, we had a project and I procrastinated so I failed. I got in massive trouble at home and now we were doing a speech; what was I meant to do to stop procrastinating! (If you don’t know what procrastinate means, it means to keep pushing a task you are meant to be doing and do it later.)

I was thinking of my speech topic when a link pooped up about Olympic medallists; Silver medallists are most likely to be sad while bronze and gold aren’t, gold medallists are happy because they won, and bronze medallists are happy because they got a medal while silver medallists, keeps comparing themselves to gold.

Just in the middle of the second paragraph on that page I stopped reading it, and realised that I had to get back to my speech. Right before I closed the window, I wanted to know if silver medals and gold medals where actually made out of silver and gold. It said, the last series of the Olympic medals made of gold were awarded at the 1912 Olympic Games in Stockholm, Sweden. Olympic Gold medals are required to be made from at least 92.5% silver, and must contain a minimum of 6 grams of gold. All Olympic medals must be at least 60mm wide and 3mm thick.

I couldn’t resist typing something else but no, I had to get back to my speech. The link popped up again but I clicked x, I couldn’t procrastinate anymore. But no, it was to tempting. I went back on the internet and typed up, do you have to be a certain age to compete in the Olympics and I thought there would be a certain age and there is for gymnastics which is 16 and for other sports you have to be older then 14 and younger then 60 (that’s quite old.)

When I closed the tab something flicked in my brain, what if I searched up how do they decide when the next Olympics are held. Quickly typed it up and they decide by the Olympic committee voting for 3 cities and the people do the rest only for the 3 left cities.

Ok I knew it was my bedtime soon so I looked at the time. It was already 9:55 and I haven't even ate my rainbow muffin... and do my speech. I was panicking so hard but I came up with an idea, to make a speech about all the information I got from procrastinating!( but it was still bad because, I couldn't eat my rainbow muffin!) So I typed in all the information about the Olympics jumped into bed and pretended I was fast asleep.

If you think procrastinating is bad your right, but in this case it was surprisingly good! I suggest don't procrastinate ever and that day was very, very surprising!!! And they all died jokes doneWrite a note in this area. It's really easy to share with others. Click here ...
