My names Montell Coles and I'm currently the manager for the Food And Drinks
department of the National Christmas guide.
How are you today?

The reason I'm contacting you today is because we're officially in the finalising process of the national Christmas guide and we have the opportunity for an established confectionery brand to feature within the guide on either a double page or a single page spread.
Now i've seen your brand advertised on twitter and I've actually tried the white chocolate and cranberry bar and I thoroughly enjoyed it and it was completely inexpensive which was great.

Personally, I think your brand would integrate perfectly within this years edition, especially as we currently have no other confectionery brand involved which guarantees to appeal to your target market and you also gain industry exclusivity.

Now, I was just wondering where abouts are you, erhm, campaign wise and if you have any products that you plan to promote for the christmas season approaching?


As the facts go, the WhatsOn Christmas guide is free to pick up, C5 size, so it's very similar to time out magazine and cosmpolitan if you're aware of those, it's a full colour, glossy printed guide and packed full of information that the discerning shopper needs to know about. Erh, I mean our Xmas Guide is one of our most popular titles and its widely distributed and read.
I know last year we distributed just over 417,000 copies of the guide, 65,000 of which went out to individuals who have already subscribed to us. The rest were distributed all across the UK covering hotel's and b&b's

Brilliant! That's perfect, because by advertising with us you'll definitely hit your target market even further, I mean, it's a ridiculously popular national Christmas guide, you specialise in confectionery, and to me that's simply an amalgamation second to none, as I'm sure the rest of the nation would agree. Apart from people like my grandad, who are extremely diabetic, but on a overall consesus is what im getting at.

Also, if I were to ask you for art work, would you have that available and ready to send over to me?

I'd really love to include you in the guide this year. Our readers would certainly enjoy the
fantastic range of products you have to offer.
And we've previously worked with a massive portfolio of companies within the food and drink industry and it
would be an absolute pleasure to be able to work with you too.

Now is that something that we could take further?
I mean, Like I said, I am finalising now. I don't have much time, so I would need an answer.
Just to note, if you have been LTD for more than three years you wouldn't have to pay today, all I would need from you is an email stating that you are happy to proceed, the size of the ad you require and the price we agree on.
