I blew my candles and wished, "I want to know who I am."
It was a bizarre question but when I attended middle school, I felt like I was missing something but I didn't know what. It was the most uncomfortable feelings ever and my parents, doctors, even my best friends didn't understand what I meant. They thought I was sad that I graduated from my elementary school but I knew it wasn't because of that. I was so frustrated how nobody understood me and I wished I never wished for it...
As soon as I blew the candles, I felt sick right away. I pretended to feel fine and smiled at my parents who cooked hardly to make the most beautiful cake I've ever seen in my entire life. They took the cake and I left to bathroom after everyone looked away from to stare at the pretty cake. I felt so disgusted and felt so weak. Then, I threw up.
My mother knocked and came in the bathroom and asked if I was alright. I told her I didn't feel good so she let me go to bed early.
The sickness seemed to last for a month. I occasionally threw up, my nose was running, I never felt so good, and occasionally, I'd get bloody noses at random times. My parents took me to different doctors to find out what was wrong with me and they all answered us the same thing, "your child has a common cold."
Until near the end of month, things were becoming strange all of sudden. I remember I sneezed one time and there was a burst of flame on my best friend's homework. We had a fire alarm and we stayed outside for nearly an hour.
I coughed and my English class was covered with snow; I went to get tissues to cover my bloody nose and there were weird noises all over in my History class and no one knew where it came from; and I swore I noticed that whenever I hiccuped, everyone surrounding me would always fall for no apparent reasons.
