What was the importance of fire for early humans?- Fire had helped ward off animals and danger. It had also helped them with cooking their food.

What types of social changes were brought about by the Neolithic Revolution?- The domesticated animals had been a huge social change. The spread of that had helped others around with farming and agriculture.
What is pastoralism and where did it develop?- Pastoralism is when the men are superior to women. It had developed in the Neolithic time period and it started in west Africa.
Where did the first cities develop?- The first cities were developed in Mesopotamia and Eurasia.
What crops and animals were domesticated during the Neolithic Revolution? Where were they domesticated?- Millet(corn), was a crop they had used.
Cows, chickens, and pigs were some domesticated animals. they had used them for work and for food.
What types of technology was invented during the Neolithic Revolution? Where were they invented?
There were water systems and irrigation routs for watering the plants and crops. they were invented in Mesopotamia.
What are the characteristics of a civilization?
Religion, writing, language, cities, government, social structure, and art.
Why didn’t agriculture appear in Mesopotamia until 5000 BCE? What allowed it to “take root?”
The advancement of technology had widespread within those time periods. They had made more tools, and been able to domesticate the animals.
How/why are social classes created?- Social classes were made to separate the people into groups. some happened to be more important than the others, if you’d say. the king would be much more important than some random citizen
