Tan Gera was born in Paris, France, on 23 September 1995. He pursued a Master of Science in Management, specialized in Finance, at IÉSEG School of Management in France. As part of his program, he undertook a double-degree at Universidad del Rosario in Bogotá, Colombia, with coursework delivered in Spanish and an emphasis on entrepreneurship.
