Leaders exist everywhere in different types and styles. Today, I would like to tell you about what it takes to be a good leader.
Most importantly, a leader is someone who leads or commands a group, organization or country. I think the most important thing for being a good leader is to be able to understand what others are going through. How can a leader be when he or she doesn't how the community is like?
By thoroughly understanding problems a community was, is and will be in, leaders can more accurately come up with possible solutions and make better decisions that his or her followers truly need and want.
Next, I think a a leader has to be decisive. However, that doesn't mean that they have to be impatient. A leader must listen to his or her group, if not they are not being good leaders. Forcing the group to finish the work is far from being a desirable way to convince their followers to do things. A leader without patience is never a leader. It's a dictator.
Third, a leader must have integrity. They should be honest at all times and has to be confident. Of their attitude seems insincere, that leader is being careless to the group. A leader should be responsible for the group and has to be a role model for the others. He or she has to be a good example for the people; therefore they can step up and become good leaders like them someday.
Lastly, a leader must inspire people. Inspiring someone will make a big difference. Most leaders tend to command things and leave the group to finish the work. However if a leader can motivate a group of people, the group can work better than before and the group can build up the team work and create exceeding result. Motivation is a very important quality for being a good leader.
To conclude, a leader must incorporate these: having a good understanding of his or her group through various experiences, being deciseve but not impatient, trustworthy and inpiring. If you can be like this, I think you can be a successful leader. Thank you.
