《寶網經》原經文：
其聞佛名者 不懷猶豫故
若奉最勝號 夙夜具七日
彼眼致清淨 逮見無量佛
未舍於肉眼 而普見清淨
睹無數諸佛 猶如江河沙

奉持「佛說寶網經」功德
聞是經典者 眾生悉集會 不能稱其德 血脈不損耗
入火火為冷 七日專惟是 奉修佛道行 亦供養菩薩
奉經當如是 其欲一毛釐 執持千世界 擎之以手掌
億劫不捨置 若於後末世 以如是像經 廣為他人說
疾成尊覺道
於後末世乃持是經。供養諸佛不可稱計。是等之類於後末世乃持佛法。
若億千劫淨修梵行在於世間。行不可計積累功德。
於後末世聞此經者。福超於彼無能限量。啟受經典精思無底。遊諸佛土不可計會。見諸正覺講無限法。見阿彌陀、阿閦如來。其欲覩此諸人中導離垢、光燄、師子、月英。然後末世當持此經。若復欲見彌勒如來、無垢大聖、師子英如來。如光明尊亦復如是。
然後末世當持佛法。順如是比尊妙經典。今者如來為寶網說
《觀虛空藏菩薩經》裏面也有記載，該經書是這麼說的
東方寶光月殿妙尊音王佛
南方樹根華王佛
西方造王神通炎華佛
北方月殿清淨佛
下方善寂月音王佛
上方無數精進願首佛
佛告寶網菩薩。若善男子善女人。起立講堂如三千大千世界。講堂內造立精舍。計有億數。皆以赤栴檀而合成之。以一切樂具供養諸佛。於百千劫。於佛滅後複起塔廟。幢幡華蓋寶瓶香爐伎樂歌歎。於意云何。是人功德寧為多不。寶網白佛。甚多世尊。佛言不如有人諷誦念此六方佛名恭敬作禮。其人世世常生轉輪王家。端正威德。臨欲終時。百億諸佛授手令不墮三惡趣。設有五逆重罪。應入地獄。令現世輕受頭痛則除。以此當之。不入三惡道受。是故至心恭敬作禮。廣說如是寶網童子經
